Managing director Kim Lockwood has been a journalist in Australia, working for newspapers and magazines throughout the country, since 1966. He has written or contributed to 15 books, including the Herald and Weekly Times (Victoria) stylebook and the News Ltd national stylebook.
His work has appeared in every metropolitan daily newspaper, many regional dailies and weeklies and several magazines.
Kim is a regular contributor to the national Style Council, and has lectured at universities on style, editing and good English. He is a member of the Institute of Professional Editors, the Australian Society of Authors and Copyright Agency Ltd, has judged the Walkley Awards for journalism and has twice been guest speaker on ABC Radio National's language program Lingua Franca. He has delivered papers on modern English usage to the Victorian Association for the Teaching of English and other bodies.
